Ralph and I have been married for almost 37 years and during that time we have served the Lord in a variety of ways. I was first ordained in 1976 and I have since been prophetically called out and commissioned as an apostle.
In 1981 we left the Anglican ministry to start what is now called The Sanctuary Church.
As a church we have seen many moves of God which have shaped us and caused us to grow closer to God. Over the years we have seen many miracles and wonderful out pourings of God's power and presence. We have an emphasis on evangelism, discipleship, teaching Biblical truth, Holy Spirit empowered ministry, and worship that lifts Jesus up. We have a strong women's ministry, Sunday school, Kids Klub, Bible study and the Men' fellowship is currently rebooting. There is a strong prophetic gifting in the church and a real outpouring of God's love amoung us. We have a prophetic team of a dozen people who are all maturing in their gift.
As Ralph moves out more and more as an international Apostle I have had to adjust and pick up new responsibilities. I'm especially excited about mentoring the emerging leaders in the church. Our preach team consists of two gifted young men that I am privileged to mentor, Ralph, and myself in a four week rotation.
It seems as if each day there is some new challenge. God is so good!! He continues to answer prayers and work miracles!! We are praying that we won't settle for being nominal but will be empowered to be phenomenal Christians. It has been a privilege to serve God all these years and I look forward to many more exciting years of serving Our Lord.

The ministry was founded in 1988 as a street work. We have evolved into a Church but the ministry has remained focused on preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost, whether they are adults, youth or children. We have seen a move of God upon the kids that come to Anchors kids club as well as the summer camps we have for them in the summer. We recognize the importance as five-fold ministers, in training the saints to do the work of the ministry, so we are currently teaching Bible School to a group of eight students, soon to be nine.We are using all the material from *Global Discipleship Schools International as it has excellent and exciting results in the lives of each of the students. We are also involved in teaching hands on ministry to a group in a beauty salon every Wednesday night. Here we study the word of God but we also stress the importance of the Baptism of The Holy Spirit. Everyone learns to hear the voice of God, prophesy, pray for the sick and of course how to worship. We are seeing some truly amazing things as we let the Lord have His way. We are members of Life Builders Network and are very thankful that God has put us together with this group of amazing men and women of God. We want to take this opportunity to give all the glory to God for what he has accomplished in us and through us. It's all about HIM.

Born in California, Don was raised in the coal mining town of Glace Bay, N.S. Drawn from a young age to the Arts, Don was a musician and entertainer with a passion for writing. He grew up in the United Church of Canada, where his talents found a natural outlet. In time, Don felt called to the ministry, a kind of 'born fit', which was readily affirmed by his church and community. After his studies at Acadia University and the Atlantic School of Theology, he was ordained in 1994.
